Control System
One of the most important systems of the hall is the control system. You can say that it is the brain of your conference hall, without which the hall cannot be “intelligent” and modern. It is the control system which integrates all the equipment into a single complex. You can control systems of the hall via an interface accessible via WiFi from practically any mobile device, just as from a desktop computer.

It is also important to think about whether an operator is needed in the hall. Or will the conference chairman manage the hall? Comfortable and intuitive interface of modern control systems allows this. But, if an operator is still needed, it is worth to decide whether he will be in the hall or in a separate operator’s room. You also need to think about what equipment that room has to have, because he needs to hear and see what is happening in the hall.

Display system
One more important system is displaying. Thinking about LCD monitors, video walls, screens it is important to consider: there are no big or small display devices. There are display devices, adequate or inadequate for the given room parameters. This means that screens should be chosen on the basis of whether they will be visible or not.

Both the shape of the room or additional elements – columns, for example – and the height of the ceilings may interfere with the view: if the ceilings are low, the large screen for the back rows will obscure the participants sitting in front.

One traditional solution to such a problem is duplication of display media. You can place additional panels on the walls or special racks, or install monitors on the participants’ tables.

When choosing displaying equipment for the conference hall you should also take into account what information will be displayed and for whom it is intended. Will it be video clips or documents? How well the details should be visible to all participants of the event? For example, for a clearer picture it is worth to install a video wall, not a projection screen, as well as monitors on the tables of participants.

Conference system
Each conference system performs a number of functions (speaker queue, voice transmission), which are controlled via the chairman’s console. The volume is controlled from the operator panel. But it is also important to consider what other systems are needed to equip a conference hall besides a conference system.

Simultaneous interpretation system
For example, a simultaneous interpretation system can be integrated with the conference system, which is activated by pressing the conference microphone unit. An external simultaneous interpretation system is also possible. The number of language channels conference systems can broadcast is quite large. The main thing is to take into account where there will be booths for interpreters. Or will there be interpreters in the hall? How many interpreters will be there? The appearance of the hall also depends on the answers to these questions.
